Thank you for choosing The Argyll Club for your event. The terms of your agreement are outlined below.

In these terms and conditions, the “Centre” means the The Argyll Club centre to which the booking applies, and the “Client” means the person, organisation, or company responsible for booking the event.
 

For one off bookings:

Payment for the event is due once the Client receives the booking confirmation form by email.

All payments will be taken by credit card via payment link in the invoice sent by the centre.  

Any miscellaneous charges incurred after initial payment will be added to the final invoice and the Client’s credit card will be charged accordingly.

For Account Holders:

Charges to be invoiced after the event.

The balance of the account is due no later than 30 days after date of invoice.

The Centre cannot be held responsible for any disruption to meetings caused by fire alarms, evacuation or events beyond their control.

 

The following terms and conditions relate to all bookings:

Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building.

The Client will be responsible for and will indemnify the Centre against all costs, loss, damage (including damage incurred through the use of adhesive on walls), or injury sustained due to the act, neglect or default of the Client or of any person for whom the Client is responsible.

The Centre regrets that they cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or theft of any personal equipment or belongings.

The Centre cannot permit clients to bring their own food or beverages into any of the meeting or conference rooms.

The Centre is open Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5.30pm and on Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm. Access to the centre outside of these hours must be pre-arranged and will incur an additional charge.

The Client will be allowed access to their allocated meeting room 15 minutes prior to the booked time, subject to availability. Should the Client require earlier access, it must be pre-arranged and will be subject to an additional charge.

The Centre reserves the right to charge for any extra time incurred in the meeting room outside of the times reserved.

 

Cancellation terms:

3 working days prior to event date - 100% cancellation charges

5 working days prior to event date - 75% cancellation charges

7 to 10 days prior to event date - 50% cancellation charges 

7 to 10 days prior to event date, bookings of 16 delegates and above - 100% cancellation charges 

 

Cancellation for Office and Virtual Office Customers

The Client is presumed to have agreed and accepted these Terms and Conditions to confirm the booking.
